Lower South Long Lake is a 1300 acre recreational lake offering great fishing, water skiing, canoeing, sailing and relaxing. It is a lake for the all species angler, due to its diversity of structure and abundance of food and cover. The lake is stocked annually and contains walleye, bass northern crappie and sunfish. Known by locals as one of Brainerd's best kept secrets, this quiet, scenic lake is also home to an abundance of wildlife such as loons, eagles, humming birds, egrets and deer.
